Mexican Salad

just as colorful as the mexican culture, this salad has several kinds of layers to it.Delicious and filling at the same time, the Mexican salad(Vegetarian) is often served in a large cripsy tortilla shell called "Tostada". It is encrusted with all colorful vegetables, Mexican salsa and cheddar cheese, everything about this salad from its appearance to taste is awesome! Enjoy this Healthy Recipe with your family.

What Do You Need...Ready?

1 cup cooked rice
2 cups lettuce - shredded
1 cup refried beans
1 tbsp olive oil – To Fry
1/2 cup black beans - boiled
1/2 cup sweet corn kernels
1 small green pepper(capsicum) - finely chopped
1 large semi-ripped tomato – finely chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3 tbsp guacamole
3 tbsp sour cream
White Pepper – to taste
3/4 cup mexican salsa(spicy falvour)
salt - to taste




                             


                           
Start,Action,Camera

1.  Take a Fry pan, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil and add the chopped Capsicum to it.   Sauce them lightly till they become a little tender and keep it in a bowl.



2. Mix the shredded lettuce, beans, cooked rice and chopped tomatoes all together and allow to cook for some time with low flame.


3. Then add the sautéed Capsicum and spicy salsa to it. Add salt and pepper according to taste.


4. Add the sour cream and guacamole on the top, and cover with a generous helping
of cheddar cheese.


5. Top with some corn tortilla chips and serve! Make a fuss of in the flavors of Mexico as you enjoy this vegetarian Mexican salad.
