Chilli sauce
2 fresh red chillies; finely chopped

- 120 gms. Plain Flour (or self-raising flour)
- ½ tsp. powdered salt
- A pinch of baking powder
- 1 egg, beaten with a fork
- 150ml water
- ¼ cup well-cooked corn kernels
- 1 red chilli; finely chopped
- 100gm small fresh shrimps; cleaned well
- 50gm beansprouts
- 1 large onions; finely chopped
- 2 stalks spring onions;finely chopped
Chilli sauce
2 fresh red chillies; finely chopped
1/2 shallot
1 nip garlic, ½ “garlic;finely minced
2 tbsp. tomato sauce
Sugar and salt to taste
2 tbsp. white vinegar

1. Take a Large sized bowl; Mix the flour with water, salt, chillies blend them well until it gets the smooth and thick consistency.
2. Add the chopped onion, boiled corns, prawns, spring onions on the batter mix well.
3. Heat the Oil in a large pan (for making perfect deep fry) for 2 minutes till it gets the flame.
4. Use two spoons to take the batter, take the one spoon to fill the batter and another to shape it.
5. Scoop a spoonful of cucumber udang batter mixture and drop it in the heated oil and repeat this process for 5 to 6 scoops.
6. Deep fry until the batter turns golden colour. Turn it on both sides and test the cake using a fork/knife to confirm it is well cooked.
7. Transfer them in the absorbent paper.
8. Serve with chilli sauce.
