Hai Foodies…. Sorry for the late updates. I was little bit busy with my job for the past one week. Now My 2 year’s old princess has started to speak out few words very clearly and it is always nice to hear the baby's first sweetful words. Today my hubby has planned to go for a walking with my baby and barely I find some time to update my blog.
Today I want to share a popular, simpler but more delicious north indian recipe. My Hubby never had his lunch without a egg added to his lunch menu . He loves a lot. So I always try to do experiments with egg.So my latest addition would be the simple and easy egg curry recipe. You just try it and leave a comment. I hope that you also will be an “egg lover” after trying this recipe.
What do you need….Ready?
4 Boiled eggs(Hard)
2 potatoes ;boiled; cut into small cubes (optional)
2 medium sized onion; chopped 3 medium sized tomatoes; finely chopped
3 tbsp cooking oil 2 green chillies;f inely chopped
2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
2 garlic cloves; minced well
1inch ginger ; minced well
Salt to taste
fresh coriander leaves ;finely chopped to garnish
Start,Action,Camera
1. Heat the pan, pour 2 tsp of cooking oil and when hot, add the onions and green chilies. Fry it till slightly golden brown. Turn off the fire.
2. Transfer the fried onions in a bowl. Grind the fried onions with green chilies into a smooth, thick paste.
3. Heat the pan with remaining oil, add the grinded paste, fry it for 5 minutes.
4. Add minced ginger, garlic, the spice powders, sauté well till the oil begins to separate from the gravy.
5. Add 2 cups of warm water; boil it on a medium flame.
6. Add the boiled potatoes to the curry if you want.
7. Now add the half spitted boiled eggs and mix the gravy gently. Simmer the flame and cook for 10 minutes or till the gravy is thickening.
8. Garnish the curry with coriander leaves. Serve hot with Rice, Chapathi, Pulka, Roti, Parathas.
