Onion Pakoras, Bhajji is one of the popular appetizers in India. I feel that it has more oil while frying. I want to try with snack with some more healthier and also tasty….Finally I got the Vegetable Bhajji.I have selected the vegetables just like that, but it tastes very much J.
1 cup Gram Flour/Channa Besan/chickpea flour
1 tablespoon Rice Flour (for more crispy)
1 cup Big Onion; thinly sliced (Julienned)
¼ cup Natural yogurt
1/2 cup julienned potato
1/2 cup julienned Carrots
1 tsp ground cumin seed
½ tsp Red Chilly Powder
10 springs coriander leaves;finely chopped
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp salt
½ cup water

1. In a Bowl, mix all the ingredients and with all spice powders and mix well by adding a cold water, a tablespoon at a time while mixing it.

2. Now it’s time to add all chopped vegetables and blend them well. Add some water, if the batter is too dry to blend it.
3. The batter should be thick as enough to make the patties/Bhaji.
4. Sprinkle the fresh coriander leaves and salt to taste on the bhaji mixture, make small balls and flatten it (like a patties) using your fingers.
5. Heat the Oil and deep-fry the patties until crispy and turns golden brown. Place the fried bhaji in the tissue paper before you serve it.
6. Serve with Mint chutney.
