Prep 15 minutes cooking time 15 mints serves 4
500g squid; score the inner body and cut into thick slices
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 red chilli, shredded
2 stalks celery, sliced diagonally
1 tsp hot bean paste
1/2 cup water
2 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
11/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp corn flour (combine above together)
Blanch squid in boiling water until just cooked. Drain and set aside.
Heat the pan with 2tsp oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Add hot bean paste and stir fry for 1/2 minute over high fire.
Add sauce ingredients and bring to a boil. Add squid and shredded chilli.
Mix well and turn off fire (don't overcook squid)
